PALM SUNDAY: There will be a half hour service on Palm Sunday (April 14th) at 3pm followed by refreshments in the church for those who for medical or other reasons find they cannot attend the traditional 11am service.
Please invite and offer to bring those who might appreciate this time of worship and fellowship."

MUSIC AT ST COLUMBA’S:  The next in the series will be St David’s Brass Band on Saturday 27th April at 7.30pm in the church.  Tickets priced £7.00 are available from the office or at coffee following the morning service.

COFFEE ROTA: For those on the rota who have not yet received a copy of the new version, this can be obtained from the Church office.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE - PEWS: As you will be aware the church pews are to be removed and replaced by chairs.  The pews will be available for sale to anyone who is interested.  Please read more information in the April edition of the Kirk News or contact Ruth Laidlaw -

Tuesday Topics: The last meeting will be held on Tuesday16 April at 7.30pm for our A.G.M. and a Beetle Drive. The session will finish with our outing on Tuesday 30 April.

Jubilo Concert: The Jubilo spring concert is at St Cuthbert’s church at 7.30pm on Saturday 4th May.  It’s a choral concert including “These Things Shall Be” by John Ireland.  Tickets are available from Issy Inness, Jim Laing, Katy Williamson, Alison Hewat and Muriel Stenhouse and cost £12.00 (£10.00 concession).



HEART AND SOUL: The Church of Scotland Heart and Soul swingband which will be performing in Princes Street Gardens on Assembly Sunday will be coming to Blackhall Church on 11th May at 7.30. Entry is free but a collection will be taken for The Church of Scotland’s HIV/AIDS project.
