Traditional Sunday Services
At Blackhall St. Columba's, Services are normally held at 11am on Sundays.
During July and August, however, there are three Services each Sunday:
- 9:30am Family Service (about 40mins)
- 11am Morning Worship
- 9pm Sunset Service (about 30mins)
Crèche and Cradle Roll
If parents wish to attend 11am Worship, children up to the age of 3 years can be looked after in the Crèche in Church house (adjacent to the Church).
Activities for Children over 3 years
Children aged 3 - 10 years are welcome to attend Challengers, our Sunday School.
There are two further groups, Open Door for P7 - S3 on Sunday mornings and Grassroots for S4+ on Sunday evenings.
Lifts to Church
If you are unable to make your own way to Church for Worship, there are volunteers who are able to provide transport. Please contact the Church Office (details on the left) for more information.
Welcome Teams
We have a welcome team on duty at each Service to welcome worshippers, particularly visitors, distribute Orders of Service, show people to seats and mingle with people during coffee following the Service.
Flowers in Church
Week by week, flowers are donated by members of the congregation to adorn the Church for Sunday Worship. The donor can arrange the flowers themselves, or, if they wish, there is a team of ladies willing to arrange them. After Worship, the flowers are distributed to sick, infirm or bereaved members of the congregation. Anyone who would like to help in any way will be made very welcome.
