Coronavirus update April 2022

Masks

We are pleased to annouce that as of Sun 10 April we are no longer required by law to wear our mask at Church. It should be noted however that we all continue to respect everyones individual choice in that some people may continue to choose to wear their mask. If people choose to wish for continued social distancing we also provide chairs in an area of the Sancutary for this reason. Please approach the Welcome Team who will show you to this seating arrangement.

Testing

The Scottish Government have stated that before we meet anyone outwith our own household we should undertake a Lateral Flow Test. The Covid Group believe that in the current circumstances we should encourage anyone who comes to church for whatever reason to undertake such a test in line with Government advice. Home testing kits are available free of charge from most local community pharmacies or online at www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests. We also need to underline the message that those attending services or groups should not attend if they are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms. Instead they should self-isolate, book a PCR test and join worship online.
